Graduate Software Engineer – Glasgow (21,500K + Benefits)
The role is for a candidate with solid Delphi and/or C++ experience who will be able to work on new and existing software development projects, following all aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, programming and testing.
The candidate must be able to work as part of a team or alone, and will be required to follow quality assurance procedures including coding practices outlined by the company.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Excellent Delphi/C++ programming languages in Windows environments.
- Object-oriented software design.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred:
- C++ development using C++ Builder.
Beneficial:
- Understanding of the entire development lifecycle.
- Understanding of version control systems.
- Proven experience of development within a large system in a team environment.
- Unit Testing.
- Computer Science degree or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Naval Architect / Marine Engineer - Aberdeen (£Neg + Benefits)
The company is seeking a Naval Architect or Marine Engineer to assist in the development of buisneess in the offshore energy sector.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong theoretical background with experience in numerical methods. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team or alone, and will be required to follow quality assurance procedures. Recent graduates will be considered for this role. Requirements and preferences for this position are as follows.
- Required to have MEng (Merit or Distinction) or BEng (2.1 or 1st) in a relevant degree course from a recognised university.
- Required to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred to have some experience working in the energy sector.
- Preferred to have experience with mesh building, solving and reporting using CFD and FEM software packages.
